Description

The RAS Seam Closing Machine widths closes inside and outside seams with widths of 10mm & 13mm on round tubes. The working length can be doubled turning the tube.

A powerful gear motor drives the hardened upper roll in roller bearings. For a secure grip, the upper roll is knurled. The upper roll can be shifted easily into one of three working positions.

It automatically locks in each position for:

1) Outside Seam 10mm/0.39"

2) Inside Seam 10mm/0.39" or 13mm/0.51"

3) Outside Seam 13mm/0.51"

The hardened lower roll, which also runs in roller bearings, can be changed easily for:

1) Outside Seam

2) Inside Seam 10mm/0.39"

3) Inside Seam 13mm/0.51"

The upper roll is clamped hydraulically with a foot switch. As soon as the tube reached the limit switch the upper roll opens automatically and the drive motor stops.
